People Opinions on some great shoes::
"They saved my trip! I bought these as a backup shoes, mostly to wear on the plane, because I thought they were too flimsy and didn't have a thick-enough sole for walking on my trip to Italy. As it turned out, they saved my trip, because my Ecco and Propet shoes badly blistered my feet. The Aerosole soles were cushioned enough to protect me from cobblestones, and the soft leather upper didn't rub. I was able to bandage my blisters and then walk comfortably for the rest of the trip."
"Sturdy, comfortable, waterproof - These shoes need only a little breaking in and they are quite comfortable, I could walk all day in them. They are particularly useful in the snow and ice as they are totally waterproof (in my experience so far in ankle-deep slushy puddles and snow) and have great traction. I'm so used to the unnaturally tense gait that comes from walking carefully on icy sidewalks all winter and inevitably leads to muscle soreness, with these shoes I can stride on all but the slickest surfaces. Overall they are great for the price, solid winter boots that are stylish and not too warm to wear indoors."
"Love them - I got these thinking they would be great "kick around" shoes. I wasn't really sure about the European sizing thing and they are a bit loose for women, but I also found that I wear thicker socks with them anyway. Definitely not to wear with "girly" clothes though. Love the comfort, the color is good, but a bit darker leather would be better. Just my preference, the lighter ones were the ones on sale. The front of my shoes are a shade lighter than the leather on the sides and back, not sure if that is on purpose or just a difference in the material. Got compliments on them right away, and there was no breaking in period, they fit well right away. Heavy? Yep, but no big deal. They make you taller too. When I found out they were not going to be replenished I bought another pair for when these wear out! "
